Spouses Arroyo and Gonzalez are the founders of the evangelical ministry formerly named International Ministry Grace and Peace, due to its international mission. Later on, it was more adequately renamed to the end of the Earth mission. Enrique Arroyo Rojas was born in Coronel, Chile, and studied at the Seminario Teológico Bautista in Santiago (SBT).
There, he met also seminarian Maritza González Salas, who was born in Santiago. Maritza was converted into Christianity in the Bautista la Roca church in Santiago, and Enrique received Jesus in San Pedro de la Paz, the first Baptist Church in that city. Once both finished their seminaries, they got married and raised two children, Dante and Guido. After preaching at a different church, God answered a prayer made in their last days as seminarians that were just about to finish.
They knelt to pray at a garden in the SBT, and in a silent cry, they pleaded for God to send them to a church in Valdivia. 8 years later that prayer was fulfilled after a long path of preparation, both for them as young Pastors but for the congregation of Valdivia as well, given the fact that they had to abandon old traditions and accept different changes.
